Market Structure
BOS and CHoCH — how trends start, continue, and reverse.
Beginner
The market moves in waves — higher highs and higher lows for bullish, lower highs and lower lows for bearish. A Break of Structure (BOS) confirms the trend is continuing. A Change of Character (CHoCH) signals the trend is shifting — this is where the money is. OXY ALGO's Scanner detects these shifts on M15 and confirms on H4 before any trade is taken.
OXY ALGO checks: M15 for entry structure, H4 for trend confirmation. No H4 alignment = no trade.
💧
Liquidity
Equal highs and lows are magnets — banks sweep them before the real move.
Beginner
Banks need liquidity to fill large orders. Retail traders place stops above equal highs and below equal lows — creating pools of liquidity. Price sweeps these obvious levels, fills institutional orders, then reverses. When you see price take out a clean high/low, the real move often comes next.
OXY ALGO's risk engine avoids entries near obvious liquidity pools. It waits for the sweep THEN enters.
📊
Premium & Discount Zones
Buy cheap, sell expensive — using the Fibonacci 50% level as the divider.
Beginner
Draw Fibonacci from swing low to swing high. Everything above the 50% level is premium (expensive) — smart money sells here. Everything below is discount (cheap) — smart money buys here. It's that simple. If you're buying in premium or selling in discount, you're on the wrong side.
OXY ALGO's Scanner filters every trade: only buys in discount zones, only sells in premium zones.
Kill Zones (Sessions)
80% of real moves happen in 3-hour windows. Trade during those windows only.
Beginner
Institutional order flow concentrates in specific windows: London (07-10 UTC), New York (12-15 UTC), Asia (00-03 UTC), and London Close (15-16 UTC). Outside these windows, price chops sideways and fakes out retail traders. OXY ALGO's scanners ONLY run during these windows.
Use our free Kill Zone Clock to track sessions in real-time.
🔄
Power of 3 (PO3)
Every day follows 3 phases: Accumulation, Manipulation, Distribution.
Beginner
Accumulation (Asia session): price ranges, institutions build positions quietly. Manipulation (London open): price spikes to sweep liquidity — the fake move that traps retail. Distribution (NY session): the real move — price trends in the actual direction. Understanding this daily rhythm is the foundation of ICT trading.
OXY ALGO's Daily Bias Engine identifies which phase the market is in before any trade is taken.

Order Blocks
The last candle before a strong move — where institutions placed their orders.
Intermediate
An order block is the last opposing candle before a strong displacement move. This is where institutions placed their orders. When price returns to this zone, they defend it — creating a high-probability entry. Not all OBs are equal: strength depends on the displacement that follows. A weak push = weak OB.
OXY ALGO scores order blocks by displacement strength and volume. Strong OB + displacement = high-confidence trade.
📐
Fair Value Gaps (FVG)
A 3-candle imbalance where price moved too fast — it often comes back to fill.
Intermediate
Look at 3 consecutive candles. If the middle candle's body gaps beyond the wicks of candles 1 and 3, that's a Fair Value Gap — an imbalance in price delivery. The market tends to fill these gaps before continuing. FVGs are excellent entry zones when they align with the trend direction.
OXY ALGO detects FVGs on M15 and uses them as entry zones when aligned with H4 trend direction.
Displacement
Large consecutive candles with small wicks — institutional commitment in action.
Intermediate
Displacement is a series of large, aggressive candles in one direction with little to no wicks. This shows institutions are moving price with conviction — not just testing levels. No displacement means no institutional commitment, which means the move is likely to fail.
OXY ALGO requires displacement as confirmation for ALL trade entries. No displacement = no trade, no exceptions.
🎯
Liquidity Sweeps
Price spikes past a key level, grabs stops, then reverses — the classic trap.
Intermediate
A liquidity sweep happens when price spikes beyond a key level (taking out stops), then immediately reverses. This is the manipulation phase — institutions swept retail stops to fill their orders at a better price. The reversal after the sweep is often the best entry. Wait for confirmation (a shift in structure) before entering.
OXY ALGO's signal tracker logs every sweep and checks for reversal confirmation within 3 candles.
🔨
Breaker Blocks
A failed order block becomes a breaker — where trapped traders need to exit.
Intermediate
When an order block fails and price breaks through it, it becomes a breaker block. Traders who entered at the OB are now trapped and need to exit. When price returns to this zone, their exit orders create a reaction — giving you a high-probability trade in the opposite direction.
Breaker blocks are an advanced factor in OXY ALGO's confluence scoring system.

Confluence Scoring
Stack multiple factors together — the more alignment, the higher the probability.
Advanced
One setup alone isn't enough. Confluence means multiple factors aligning: OB + FVG + Liquidity Sweep + Kill Zone + H4 Alignment. Each factor adds points. A trade with 5 confluences has a much higher probability than one with 2. This is how you filter noise from signal.
OXY ALGO's scoring thresholds: SAFE mode requires confidence 75+. AGGRESSIVE mode allows 65+. /force override allows 55+. Below 55 = no trade ever.
🛡
Risk Management Rules
2% max risk. 48h cooldown after 3 losses. Circuit breaker at -$1,000. Non-negotiable.
Advanced
2% max risk per trade. Max 2 trades per instrument per day. 48-hour cooldown after 3 consecutive losses. Circuit breaker at -$1,000 floating loss. These rules are HARDCODED in OXY ALGO — no AI agent can bypass them. The best traders aren't the ones who win the most — they're the ones who survive the longest. Capital preservation is everything.

📈
H4 Trend Alignment
M15 for entry, H4 for direction. Never trade against the higher timeframe.
Advanced
M15 gives you the entry. H4 tells you which direction to trade. If H4 EMA20 > EMA50, the trend is bullish — only take buys. If H4 EMA20 < EMA50, only take sells. This single filter eliminates approximately 40% of losing trades. It's the easiest edge you can add to any strategy.
OXY ALGO's Risk Engine checks H4 alignment before every single execution. Counter-trend trades get reduced position sizes.
🌍
Session-Based Strategies
Each kill zone has a different character. Adapt your approach to the session.
Advanced
London open: look for Asian range sweeps — price takes out Asia's high or low, then trends. NY open: continuation of London's move or reversal at session high/low. London close: reversal setups as institutional flow decreases. Asia: range-building, accumulation phase. Each kill zone has different volatility and different optimal strategies.
OXY ALGO adapts lot sizing and R:R by session. London gets higher conviction sizing than Asia.
📊
COT & Sentiment Data
Institutions report positions weekly. Retail sentiment is contrarian gold.
Advanced
CFTC Commitments of Traders (COT) reports weekly institutional positioning. When commercials are net long, the smart money is bullish. Retail sentiment (from Myfxbook) shows where the crowd is positioned. When retail is 75%+ short = strong contrarian buy signal. Combining institutional + retail data gives you an unfair edge.
OXY ALGO's 3-layer confluence stack: COT (institutional) + Sentiment (contrarian) + H4 Trend. Requires 2+ layers aligned.
